Since 2010, Kelly Perso Design has developed all promotional print and web materials as well as provided website design direction for the IIDA Oregon Chapter. A graphic theme, palette and fonts are established at the beginning of each board year and adapted to create a unique identity for each event. Awards for these designs include IIDA Chapter Awards 2011 - Excellence in Overall Graphics: Honorable Mention, and IIDA Chapter Awards 2012 - Excellence in Overall Graphics: Winner.
In an effort to establish greater recognition of the Clark/Kjos brand among their prospective clients, as well as consolidate their time and manpower toward each request for proposals, Kelly Perso Design created a set of templates for proposals, covers, and tabs. Each imaginable layout, paragraph style, character style, color palette combination, and potential infographic style were created and outlined in a summarizing document that serves as a guide for future use by any Clark/Kjos staff member. Additional templates have been developed for brochures, e-blasts, and postcards.
Green Empowerment Benefit
Green Empowerment needed graphics to match the energy of its one-of-a-kind party-til-you-drop benefit that brings together Portland's business, civic, and non-profit leaders. With bold typography and bright shades of green, and a lose party vibe in layout and verbiage, this packet along with impressive word-of-mouth promotion by their volunteers helped bring more folks through the door than Green Empowerment imagined possible - all to provide renewable energy and water systems that alleviate poverty and improve the environment.
Lango Hansen Cutsheets
Bringing Lango Hansen's marketing materials to the next level and establishing a more efficient process for going after work, these templates display their beautiful landscape designs in clear, vibrant layouts combining their previous color palette with new font standards for a fresh look. Templates were established in single-page and full-spread layouts for each project along with specialty pages for firm profile, project lists, resumes, and a handful of cover options allowing Lango Hansen to pull together a variety of marketing materials in a short amount of time. Template user guides were also delivered for ease of use by any Lango Hansen team member.
James Beard Public Market Brochure
This 12-page brochure provides project background and donor information for the James Beard Public Market, a daily, year-round, indoor-outdoor marketplace expected to break ground in 2016 in downtown Portland. Following through with the vision set by Studio Jelly to use rich, in-your-nose food imagery throughout the market's promotional materials, Kelly Perso Design developed complementing fonts, layouts, and organization of the information for not only the brochure, but a variety of marketing and identity pieces for the market.
Kelly Perso Design has created a number of print ads for clients across the country that are featured in major publications throughout the US and abroad. Most recently, a full-page ad created for Columbia Green Technologies featured in Architectural Record won an Advertising Excellence Award for Best Single Page Ad.
